The film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran hit many speed breakers but has finally made it to the silver screens on May 25, 2018. The makers hosted a premiere event of the film in Mumbai on May 24, 2018.
The premiere event saw the presence of lead actors John Abraham and Diana Penty. John was seen mobbed by fans at the premiere venue and was also seen obliging for selfies with many of the fans.
Diana looked pretty in a black crop top and trendy black pants. The story of the film is about the nuclear bomb test explosions that were conducted by the Indian army at Pokhran in 1998. Other attendees of the premiere event included Abhishek Bachchan, Parmeet Sethi, Jackky Bhagnani, Harshvardhan Rane, Kabir Khan, Mini Mathur, Javed Jafrey and others.
The film is helmed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by JA Entertainment, Zee Studios and KYTA Production.
