The ten day festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is just round the corner and Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are banking on the opportunity. The actors promoted eco-friendly Ganesh celebrations at an event in Mumbai on September 11, 2018. Varun and Anushka also took the opportunity to promote their upcoming flick Sui Dhaaga – Made In India.
The actors turned up in ethnic outfits and were seen promoting the idea of celebrating the festival with eco-friendly Ganesh idols. Anushka looked gorgeous in a black ethnic outfit while Varun was seen in a pale green kurta and white pyjama.
Talking about the film Sui Dhaaga – Made In India is directed by Sharat Kataria and will be released in theatres on September 28, 2018. Varun will be seen playing the role of Mauji a tailor while Anushka will be seen playing the role of Mamta, Mauji’s wife, who is an embroiderer.
The film talks about the idea of self-reliance and also promotes the campaign of Made In India.
