Shahid Kapoor recently shared his joy of becoming a parent for the second time. The actor and wife Mira Rajput have been blessed with a baby boy and the two are currently enjoying their happy phase. Shahid , who was promoting his upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu has pulled himself out of the promotional activities as his daughter Misha has fallen sick.
The Jab We Met actor shared about his experience through his Twitter account and wrote, “The last few days have been tough. Misha running very high fever and Zain just came home. Have had to miss some promotions. Just 9 days to go for Batti Gul Meter Chalu to release but being a parent is above all else. Hope to resume promotions very soon.” Mira gave birth to son Zain Kapoor last week at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
The couple even posed for pictures for the paparazzi when they were discharged from the hospital. Since then several visitors have been seen visiting the Kapoor family at their residence. Shahid’s mother Neelima Azeem recently shared about her grandson Zain and said, “He is a beautiful child. We all have toiled very hard in our lives and now just reaping happiness.”
Meanwhile Batti Gul Meter Chalu will be released in theatres on September 21, 2018.
