Indian film actress Shweta Basu Prasad got married to her beau Rohit Mittal in a private wedding ceremony held in Pune on December 13, 2018. The couple got married according to Bengali and Marwari traditions. Shweta took her Instagram account to share a few pictures from the wedding.
The year 2018 has been a year of high profile weddings from Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra to Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath. Shweta can be seen looking gorgeous as a Bengali bride while Rohit can be seen looking dapper in a black bandhgala outfit.
Before the wedding, the couple had started off celebrations with Mehndi ceremony. For the Mehndi ceremony, the actress wore a pretty purple sari and later changed to hot pink and gold lehenga. The actress had gone to Bali to celebrate her bachelorette party. Shweta had shared the picture of her with friends on the social media.
Rohit and Shweta have been dating since the past four years. It was Shweta who proposed Rohit after dating for such a long time. On the work front, the actress plays the role of Nandini in the popular TV series Chandranandini by Balaji Telefilms. Shweta had also starred in the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania by Dharma Productions.
