Veteran actor Kiran Kumar, known for playing negative roles on TV and films, tested positive for coronavirus in Mumbai. The good news is that the 66 year old actor is currently asymptomatic and is doing absolutely fine. The actor revealed that he had been to the hospital on May 14, 2020 for a medical checkup, where the COVID-19 screening was mandatory for all patients. Kumar added that he tested positive after he underwent the test.
The Anjaam actor while talking to a leading daily said that he did not have any symptoms then and does not have any symptoms now and has self-quarantined himself at home. Kiran added that it has been ten days since he had tested positive and he still does not have any symptoms.
The actor also assured that his family lives on the second floor, while the actor lives on the third floor. Kiran also shared that he will be undergoing a second test on May 26 or May 27, 2020. The state of Maharashtra has so far recorded 47, 190 infections and 1,577 deaths as of May 23, 2020.
Kiran is married to Sushma Verma and together they have two children. The actor has been active in showbiz since the year 1960 and continues to work as an actor.
