Salman Khan to appear in a cameo in Riteish Deshmukh’s Marathi directorial Ved

Indian actor Riteish Deshmukh is all set to make his directorial debut with the Marathi film Ved. The film was announced in 2021 and will also have his wife Genelia Deshmukh playing an important role. Apart from Genelia, the film will also have Ashok Saraf, Shubhankar Tawde and Jiya Shankar. Now Riteish has made things more interesting after he has announced that the film will also have the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on board for a cameo appearance.

The Dhamaal actor expressed his gratitude towards Salman while sharing pictures of Salman from the sets of his directorial debut. Riteish thanked the star for being by his side and also informed that he has completed filming his first film as a director. The actor also expressed that his journey was filled with challenges but were eased as he was surrounded with people who had his back.

Salman Khan was also a part of Riteish’s first Marathi film Lai Bhaari and now he is a part of his directorial debut. Salman in the film was seen in a cameo appearance in a song. On the other hand the Marathi film Ved will mark Genelia Deshmukh’s first Marathi film.

Riteish and Genelia are also filming for the film Mister Mummy, which will mark the first time they will be sharing the screen space after the film Tere Naal Love Hogaya.
