Upcoming Bollywood film Project K is one of the most talked about films. The makers have dropped the first look that features Deepika Padukone. The poster has an up-close image of Deepika’s character. Although not much has been revealed about the film or her character, but the audience has surely appreciated her look. The first look poster was posted by the production banner Vyjayanthi Movies. The movie also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.
Earlier in July, 2023 it was revealed that the film Project K would be a part of Comic Con at San Diego this year. This makes it the first film in India to do so. The lead cast members made the announcements through their respective social media accounts. Project K is a working title for now and the makers will soon make the title and trailer announcement which is expected to happen later this month.
Comic Con is an event that includes previews and panels of the upcoming films. The event has recalibrated its programming this year due to the strike by the actors and writers which has brought down Hollywood. It has been reported that a number of studios including Marvel, Disney, HBO, Universal and Sony have cancelled their presence from the event.
On the other hand Project K has already started to make news after it made its presence felt at Times Square, New York. The upcoming film is helmed by Nag Ashwin. The Sci-fi flick is expected to be in theatres in January 2024. Project K has been shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages. The makers announced the film in February 2020 that marked the 50th anniversary of Vyjayanthi Movies. Project K has been reportedly made under the budget of Rs. 600 crores which makes it one of the most expensive films to be made. The music for the film has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
