BollywoodGaram.com: Filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor unveiled the trailer of his upcoming movie ‘Lakshmi’ at PVR cinemas in Mumbai. The director is reportedly essaying the role of a pimp in the flick.
The filmmaker is back with the new movie after the release of ‘Mod’ in 2011. The upcoming movie ‘Lakshmi’ deals with the issue of child prostitution.
The launch event was attended by Satish Kaushik and Shefaali Shah and the movie also has Ram Kapoor and Monali Thakur. Ram will be seen playing the role of an advocate, while Monali will be playing the role of a victim. Satish Kaushik will be seen playing the role of a man who forces 20 year-old-girls to prostitution. ‘Lakshmi’ will hit the theatres on January 17, 2014.
