Bollywood Garam: Bollywood movie ‘Love U.. Mr. Kalakaar’ has brought back Tusshar Kapoor and Amrita Rao in their good old, cute and sweet images that they used to portray before. In the movie, Rao will be seen just like she was in the movie ‘Vivah’, while Tusshar plays a similar role as seen in the movie ‘Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’.
If you’re wondering why the movie seems a little familiar, it could be due to the fact that this movie is from from the box of Rajshri Productions and is directed by S Manasvi. The story of the movie is nothing but a love story of a young couple. The role of Sahil is played by Tusshar Kapoor, who is a cartoonist and tries to win the hearts of many people to marry Amrita.
The subject sounds similar to the movie ‘Hum Tum’, where Saif Ali Khan too had played the role of a cartoonist. The whole story line of the movie does not seem new and very old fashioned – like somewhere in the 90’s where communicating with other people wasn’t that fast paced as it is today. The makers of the movie have failed to understand the needs of today’s audience.
The dialogues in the romantic scene may at a point allow you to bang your head. But don’t fret, the good part is the lovely scenes in the movie, because the locations selected are excellent and are very much Indian. The actors in the movie have attempted their best, but with a poor story line and predictable characters, it tends to be too boring for the 21st century.
All the same, Love U.. Mr. Kalakaar could be considered to be an average movie that can be watched along with family members.But don’t keep your expectations too high on this one.
