Bollywood Garam: While Bollywood’s most popular actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has been signed on for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’, the actress has reportedly decided to cut down her fees for her role in the movie. Bhandarkar is always known to make low budget films, but effective movies, based on realistic subjects and it seems like Mrs. Bachchan has made it easier for the director in a big way.
Aishwarya has decided that the profits of the movie from the box office success will be shared by Bhandarkar, co-star Arjun Rampal and UTV. The makers of the movie are confident that it will definitely do well at the box office as the audience has always been receptive to Bhandarkar’s movies.
Earlier, the hit movie ‘Fashion’ was made with a budget of less than 15 crores. A unanimous decision has been made by Bhandarkar, Bhandarkar Entertainment, UTV Motion Pictures and the cast of the movie that the budget of the movie should not exceed 18 crore.
The CEO of UTV Motion Pictures, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, has confirmed that they have worked out successfully with everyone. Kapoor added that getting a movie made in a particular budget is indeed crucial. In the movie, Ash will be seen in a brand new bold look. The ‘Taal‘ actress will be seen doing some nude scenes for the movie – for the first time ever in her career.
With a former Miss World winner-cum- Bollywood queen-cum International superstar in the movie, coupled with some hyped nude scenes and directed by the great Madhur Bhandarkar, fans are extremely curious about the movie and are eagerly awaiting the launch of Heroine.
