Bollywood Garam: The shooting of the upcoming movie ‘Dirty Picture’ has begun, but it seems like the makers of the movie are not aware of the norms surrounding working houts. Reports state that the shooting of the movie was halted by the Workers Union following a complaint that it exceeded the maximum number of work hours per day.
According to rules, the working hours should not extend more than 8 hours, while the shooting of the movie started at 7 am and had continued till 10 pm. Even though the crew were given breaks in between the shoots for lunch and dinner, yet some of the norms were broken. This was when one of the crew members had called and complained to the Workers Union, after which the Union came at the sets and had requested to pack up the shooting for the day.
Thankfully, there wasn’t any argument between the crew members and the Union workers. The members were kind enough to allow the director to finish the shot that was going on. Even Vidya Balan who was on the sets had quietly walked out of the scene. Prem Singh, the senior vice chairman of the Union had said that in future if they continued to do this then they would stall the shooting. The shooting of the movie had started just a few days back, which stars Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor.
