BollywoodGaram.com: Famous designer Anita Dongre showcased her An Urban Folk Tale collection during the Wills India Fashion Week 2014 on March 30, 2014. Models wore the designer’s latest collection, which included plenty of colors with various blends, patterns and prints.
Some of the modern silhouettes and accents were blended with a few elements of folk and rich Indian weaves. Dongre’s collection was inspired from sikri work of the forts and palaces in the state of Rajasthan and featured multi-colored folk beadwork. There were also asymmetric jackets, gowns, tunics and skirts shown on the runway.
Prints had various colors on them, ranging from indigo, plum and chocolate to olive. Even satins and crepes looked pleasant and wearable.
