BollywoodGaram.com: Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and Siddharth Malhotra walked the ramp for the famous designer Manish Malhotra’s ‘Men For Mijwan’. It was a fashion show to support the Mijwan Welfare Society of Shabana Azmi.
Other celebrities who attended the event included Parineeti Chopra, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kajol, Dia Mirza, Diana Penty, Sushmita Sen, Jaya Bachchan and Kalki Koechlin. The president of Mijwan Welfare Society, Shabana Azmi said that the credit of enhancing the chikankari skills of the Mijwan women goes to Manish. Azmi went on to say that this has helped in bringing their craft to the doorstep of Bollywood.
Manish has given the women of Mijwan a means of livelihood and due to this, their family status has changed.
