Bollywood Garam: South Indian actress Swetha Menon entered into wedlock on Saturday with a Sreevalsan Menon in Kerala, India. The actress tied the knot with Menon, who is a finance professional in Mumbai and is native of Thrissur.
Just two days earlier, the latest Malayalam flick of the actress ‘Rathinirvedanam’ was released. The two had tied the knot at a traditional wedding ceremony at the Naythalappurath Sasthya Ayappa temple.
The wedding ceremony was attended by close friends and family members of the bride and the groom. Swetha has acted in more than 25 Malayalam movies. The actress’ first Malayalam movie was ‘Anaswaram’, in which she had starred opposite the popular Malayalam super star Mammotty.
The actress had even once won the State award for the Best Actress for her role in the movie ‘Paleri Manickam’ opposite Mammotty which was directed by Renjith. Before the wedding, Swetha had said that she and Menon were friends for a while and had decided to take their friendship to another level. The actress added that she will not be taking a break from movies and would continue to work after her wedding. Swetha had also revealed that the horoscopes were matched before the wedding was finalized.
