BollywoodGaram.com: Veteran Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar revealed the Deenanath Mangeshkar Awards at her residence on April 13, 2014. Pandharinath Kolhapure and Zakir Hussain have been named for 2014’s Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Award for music, while Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has been named for theater and cinema and Anna Hazare has been named for social awareness.
In addition to that, theater artists Mukta Barve and Dinesh Pedanekar are the recipients of the best drama of the year award. The awards will be presented during a ceremony which is scheduled for April 24, 2014 and marks the death anniversary of Deenanath Mangeshkar who passed away in 1942 at the age of 41.
The award comes with Rs. 1,01,001 in cash, a memento and citation.
