BollywoodGaram.com: Indian actors Inam and Sharib Hashmi attended the launch event of Main Filmistan app – for the award-winning movie ‘Filmistaan’ – held in Mumbai on April 28, 2014. ‘Filmistaan’ was first screened on October 17, 2012.
The flick is directed by Nitin Kakkar and was screened at the Busan International Film Festival, the International Film Festival of Kerala and the Mumbai Film Festival. The movie won the Silver Crow Pheasant Award for the Best Debut and Best Feature Film in Hindi at the 60th National Film Awards 2012.
The story of the movie is about a wannabe actor Sunny who works as an assistant director and dreams of becoming a heartthrob star.
