Bollywood Garam: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor will soon be waxed at the popular Madame Tussaud’s museum, where the most famous actors and actresses who made a mark with their acting skills have their replicas molded in wax. After several weeks of discussion, the authorities at the museum have decided that Kareena’s ‘Chameli’ look will be waxed at the museum.
Several looks of the actress were discussed for her wax double. Most of the votes had gone for her look that she had carried in her hit movie ‘Chameli’. The role of Chameli was one of the most challenging roles that was portrayed by the actress.
Kareena had played the role of a prostitute, for which she had also won many awards and was also appreciated by the audience. Chameli was almost like a turning point for the actress after which she had not looked back in her career.
Even the producer Pritish Nandy was pleased when he had learnt that the actress’ ‘Chameli’ look will be immortalized in the museum. Kareena will be flying down to the museum in London to unveil her wax model in October 2011. Kareena’s look in the movie was researched by the producer Rangita Nandy and was designed by the celebrity designer Manish Malhotra. Pritish has said that the ‘Chameli’ look is the right choice for the wax model.
