It is baby time in Bollywood. After the happy news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan expecting, actress Lara Dutta is also on the way to welcome a new family member. Lara and her husband Mahesh Bhupathi have announced that they are expecting their first child.
Lara posted on Twitter and thanked all her fans for their wishes and prayers. The actress added that it is a very awesome time in her life and that she and her husband are too excited about their baby.
Actor Abhishek Bachchan who is also preparing to be a father, had replied to her tweets saying ‘Welcome on board’. Jr. Bachchan had addressed her as Paaji as Lara in the industry is fondly known as ‘Lara Paaji’.
Lara too replied to Abhishek and said that she would soon call him for tips. In the month of June, Amitabh Bachchan had announced on Twitter that daughter-in-law Aishwarya is pregnant. Lara and Abhishek share a good chemistry as they have worked in two films, ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ and ‘Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost’.
Lara’s baby is expected to arrive by the end of January 2012. The actress and the tennis star got hitched in the month of February this year in a grand ceremony held in Goa.
