Bollywood Garam: Actor Salman Khan is again in the news for the wrong reasons. The ‘Dabangg’ actor’s bodyguards recently hit the supporters of the anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare.
Khan was returning from a function in Kanpur, when he had come across some of the supporters of Hazare. When the activists saw that the actor was passing, then they had approached him to ask his support for the anti-corruption campaign.
But as soon as the activists had approached the vehicle of the actor, the body guards had pushed the activists and even hit some of them. The bodyguards had surrounded the car of the actor to ensure the safety of Salman.
The activists had said that they had just approached the actor with a good intention of asking his support. Deepak Bharat, one of the activists in the group, had said that they were pushed and hit by the bodyguards of the ‘Hello Brother’ actor for no reason. Bharat added that they had just intended to present the actor with Anna caps. After the incident, the activists have filed a police complaint against the actor. But the actor is yet to respond on the incident and the complaint. Salman is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Bodyguard which is going to be released on 31st August 2011.
