Bollywood Garam: For all the fans who were eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of the upcoming movie The Dirty Picture, here is the official first poster. Balaji Motion Pictures released the first poster of the movie through social networking sites on Friday.
Vidya Balan, who plays the role of the south siren Silk Smitha, can be seen in a sexy red blouse, while her co-actors Naseeruddin Shah, Tusshar Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi can be seen drooling on her. Vidya will be portraying such a bold role in Bollywood for the first time.
The head of acquisition and distribution of Balaji Films, Girish Johar, had announced that the first trailer of the movie will be released on 30th August. Johar also added that the logo and the poster of the movie has a 80s kind of feel as it is based on that period.
The makers of the movie have said that The Dirty Picture will be released on 3rd December, which is also the birth anniversary of the actress Silk Smitha. Silk Smitha was once the symbol of sensuality and was known for her bold and semi nude roles. Her later life had taken a tragic turn due to financial crisis.
