Bollywood Garam: Once again, the popular James Bond movies have returned to India for its shoot. Director Sam Mendes will be shooting for the latest Bond movie in the country and the I&B ministry has already waved the green flag for the shooting.
This will be the second Bond film to be shot in India. Earlier the movie Octopussy was shot in India and the latest version will have actor Daniel Craig starring as the British spy in the movie.
The makers of the movie have expressed to shoot in various parts of the country like Ahmedabad, Goa and Daryaganj and Sarojini Nagar areas in Delhi, while the Information and the Broadcast Ministry has granted the permission.
The officials of the railway ministry have said that the director also wants to shoot for certain train stunts in the Konkan Railways, Sabarmati in Gujarat and also a few places that fall under the jurisdiction of the South Western Railway. Permission letters have been sent to the General Managers of Konkan railway, western and south western railways to allow the crew to shoot. India Take One Productions will be handling the film’s production in the country. The movie is supposed to be released on 9th November 2012, while the shooting is expected to begin soon.
