Bollywood Garam: After a long quest for the female lead for the upcoming movie ‘Dhoom 3’, the makers have reportedly approached actress Deepika Padukone. After casting Bollywood star Aamir Khan as the negative lead for the movie, Yash Raj Films are now in search for the female lead to match up with the actor.
The ‘Om Shanti Om’ actress was recently spotted in Yash Raj Studio, where she had a meeting with producer Aditya Chopra. Sources from the production unit have said that she had come to talk about the casting of the movie ‘Dhoom 3’ and that she had also given a test.
Till now, the production team has approached and considered many actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif for the roles, but were apparently not satisfied with any of them. Then attempts were also allegedly made to approach Hollywood actresses Eva Longoria and Penelope Cruz.
No official announcement has been made by the production unit and now it seems like the makers have to come out with a decision without delaying anything. Deepika and Aamir will indeed make an interesting pair, but wonder how Aamir will manage with the height of the actress. ‘Dhoom 3’ will be the third installment of the popular ‘Dhoom’ series from Yash Raj Films.
