Bollywood Garam: The makers of the 1994 classic block buster movie ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ are now planning to make a remake. The Salman Khan and Aamir Khan starrer movie will not be retaining the earlier cast and Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan will reportedly be the main lead actors in the remake of the movie.
Film maker Raj Kumar Santoshi has already named the remake as ‘Pasand Apni Apni’ and has also allotted the characters. Imran Khan has been given the role of Salman Khan, while Ranbir will be playing Aamir’s role.
In the original movie, Aamir had grabbed more footage than Salman, but in the remake, Imran has told the makers to given equal footage to both the main characters. Plus Imran is also happy with the fact that he will be avoiding the comparisons made with his uncle Aamir.
After the success of the rib-tickling comedy released in 1994, the audience will have huge expectations from the latest version. The earlier cast of the movie also included Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor and Raveena Tondon. Till now, the female leads of the movie have not been finalized and more discussion on the characters and the cast will be done. The 1994 movie had also a guest appearance by actors Govinda and Juhi Chawla.
