Bollywood gets generous, Vidya Balan donates a hefty sum to city hospital on the occasion of Janamashtami.
‘Bobby Jasoos’ star Vidya Balan showed off her generosity as she donated a huge amount of Rs. 10,000,000 to the Seven Hills Health Care hospital. The Bollywood star made the donation on the occasion on Janamashtami on August 18,2014.
This is not the first time Vidya has associated herself with a social or charitable cause, the ‘Dirty Picture’ star is also the brand ambassador for the Indian government’s national sanitation program.
The hospital trusties were present at the event when they received the donation cheque which will be used for the welfare of the hospital. Vidya was a total star at the event as she not only took questions from the media, but also pleased the throngs of masses that had come to get a glimpse of her.
Vidya is currently working on her upcoming project ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ opposite Emraan Hashmi and Rajkummar Rao.
