Bollywood Garam: As Bollywood actress played the role of the south siren, Silk Smitha, the most challenging part was to do intimate scenes with senior actor Naseeruddin Shah. But Balan said that she was made comfortable by the actor and that the age difference did not matter for them.
The ‘Paa’ actress earlier shared screen space with Shah in the movie ‘Ishqiya’, in which she had played the role of a sultry widow. With her ever challenging roles, the actress has now come a long way and has done more intense roles with every movie.
Vidya will now be seen portraying the role of the south actress Vijayalaxmi, who was popularly known as Silk Smitha. The promos of the movie have already created a curiosity among the audience.
While talking about Balan’s chemistry with Shah, she said that they made sure that only a few people were there while shooting for such scenes and they had a fun time while shooting for the song ‘Ohh La La’. Balan added that it was hilarious to dance between oranges and posing like old sculptures. The actress said that they were all the time laughing like mad and that she was not able to control her laughter.
The Dirty Picture is all set to be released on December 2, 2011.
