Bollywood Garam: Bollywood actor Imran Khan is set to star in his superstar uncle Aamir Khan’s movie Delhi Belly. The newly married Imran, will star opposite former MTV host Shenaz Treasuryvala. Rahual Pendkalkar, Vir Das and Kunal Kapoor will be the other stars in this new film.
Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao’s earlier film “Dhobi Ghat” received a mixed bag of reviews, as the film depicted in a very arty version of the tough life in the bustling city of Mumbai.
Imran Khan’s debut Bollywood movie “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na” was a superhit, but it’s still been a long time that we’ve seen the actor get a really big hit. Kidnap and Luck didn’t do so well, and it was “I Hate Luv Storys” and “Break ke Baad” that helped him get his balance back in Bollywood.
So will 2011 be the year which turns the young Khan into a big superstar? In true Bollywood style, let’s hope Delhi Belly is that movie which will get Imran Khan to the top.
