Celebrities from the world of Indian television gathered at the 13th Indian Tele Awards event held at Filmcity in Mumbai on September 9, 2014. Those seen walking the red carpet included Karanvir Bohra, Gia Manik, Krystal Dsouza, Ankita Sharma, Paridhi Sharma, Nakul Mehta, Rajshri Thakur, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Neil Bhatt, Neha Sargam, Divyanka Tripathi, among many others.
Apart from the TV industry, celebrities from Bollywood too attended the event, including Daisy Shah, Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Divya Khosla, Jeetendra, Sana Khan and Celina Jaitley.
Actress Divyanka, known for her role in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, won the ‘Best Actress’ award while Gautam Rode won the ‘Best Actor in Lead role’ for ‘Saraswatichandra’. Even the fresh faces in the industry had a category, with Preetika Rao claimed the ‘Fresh New Face Award Female’ and Harshad Arora won the ‘Fresh New Face Award Male Award’.
The favourite on-screen pair, Karan Patel and Divyanka, won the ‘Best Jodi Award’ at the event. Actor Anil Kapoor too claimed the ‘Best Actor Award’ for his lead role in the series ‘24’. Anchors Manish Paul and Kapil Sharma won the award for ‘Best Anchors’ for ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6’.
