Hollywood superstar and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger promoted tamil star Vikram’s – I – new movie soundtrack. Schwarzenegger arrived in India on Monday, September 15, 2014 in Chennai.
The launch event was also attended by south India’s ultimate superstar Rajnikanth and the film’s music composer A. R. Rahman.
The film has been directed by Shankar and stars British actress Amy Jackson along with Suresh Gopi and Upen Patel. Director Shankar has a strong backing of box office hits behind him such as Rajnikanth starrer ‘Enthiran’ (2010).
The ‘Terminator’ star associated himself with the film on the request of the filmmakers, the film’s lead character is into body-building, hence the makers thought that it would be ideal for Schwarzenegger to promote the film.
The 67-year-old star had announced his participation in the film’s promotion via a YouTube video launched by Sony Music India.
This is not Schwarzenegger’s maiden visit to India, he had earlier visited New Delhi in 2012, where he had addressed a conference on sustainable energy development.
