The Queen of the ‘K serials’ Ekta Kapoor launched the reality show ‘Box Cricket League’ at an event in Mumbai on October 20, 2014. The launch event was attended by several TV stars including Rithvik Dhanjani, Nandish Sandhu, Vindoo Dara Singh, Ravi Kishan and Krystle D’souza.
For the event, Ekta went for the bold look as she wore a glossy maroon gown with a side slit. Ekta Kapoor addressed the media present and said, “The biggest combination is that cricket is seen for entertainment and played for entertainment, and when women join cricket, it is entertainment, entertainment and only entertainment.”
The concept of Box Cricket League was born in 2011 and is finally being executed in 2014.
