Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has become the first choice of every film maker, courtesy Salman Khan. This was also the case with film maker Anurag Basu, who had opted for Katrina opposite Ranbir Kapoor in his movie ‘Barfi’.
Sources from the production unit said that it was Katrina who was supposed to star in the movie instead of Ileana D’Cruz. In fact Basu was keener to cast Kaif for the role. The director while talking to the reporters said that it was all about destiny.
Basu said, “Maybe this role was in Ileana’s destiny, and she got it. She was an instinctive choice after Katrina, for this role.” The movie ‘Barfi’ is one of the most awaited movie of the year and the first theatrical trailer was officially launched on July 2, 2012.
Since the release of the trailer, it has received immense appreciation from all over. On YouTube it has received three and a half lakh views within just a day. ‘Barfi’ is all set to hit the silver screens on September 14, 2012. The movie also has Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. Meanwhile Katrina is busy shooting for upcoming movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ with ex-flame Salman Khan. Checkout the theatrical trailer of the movie below.
