Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have received a religion related comment from Darul Uloom Deoband in regards to their marriage, despite the fact that the couple has taken ample care to make it a legal affair. The organisation have stated that the Bollywood couple’s marriage is not valid.
The Sunni seminary said that the marriage of Kareena and Saif is illegal if Kareena is a Hindu, and according to the Shariah law, the marriage cannot be accepted even if it has been registered with the registrar of marriage. Mufti Rashid, a member of the seminary said that the man and woman must both be Muslims if they want to tie the knot, or the marriage will be illegal according to Shariah law.
