Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was at the UN Women conference titled WeUnite in New Delhi on December 6, 2016. Kaif at the event encouraged women to speak up against the issues of marital rape and other crimes that are committed against them.
The ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ actress also stressed on the fact that even educated women remain silent in the face of violence as they are afraid to face a societal pressure.
The actress inspired the women to come forward and raise their voice against various atrocities.
