Vidyut Jamwal and Adah Sharma at Commando 2 photoshoot
Actors Vidyut Jamwal and Adah Sharma promoted their upcoming movie ‘Commando 2’ at a photoshoot in Mumbai on January 28, 2017. Vidyut looked great in a t-shirt, denims and a white jacket while Adah looked stylish in a white top, denims and a jacket.
The makers of the movie have announced that the release of the movie has been postponed by two months due to demonetization. The movie was earlier going to hit the theatres on January 6, 2017 but now the release date has been fixed on March 3, 2017. However, this is not the first movie that postponed its release. Last week the thriller movie ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ also delayed its release by two weeks.
The news of the delay of ‘Commando 2’ was confirmed by director Deven Bhojani who said, “Demonetisation has affected movie biz. For the past few days, we have been contemplating a more viable release date for Commando 2; obviously, we don’t want the box-office collection to get affected.”. The director added that they were planning to come out with a trailer in a few days but even that has been postponed. Bhojani also informed that co-incidentally the movie is also about Vidyut’s journey to curb black money.
Vidyut in the movie will be seen playing the role of Captain Karanvir Singh Dogra, who is skilled in many aspects of survival and is on a mission to emit black money which has been dumped in to many banks abroad. The movie also features Freddy Daruwala, who played the role of a terrorist in the movie ‘Holiday’ opposite actor Akshay Kumar. ‘Commando 2’ is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah under the banners of Sunshine Pictures and Pen Movies. The movie is the sequel to the 2013 movie ‘Commando’ which also starred Vidyut opposite actress Pooja Chopra.
