Vidya Balan interacts with students
Indian actress Vidya Balan was at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares acting school in Mumbai on January 27, 2017. Kher, at an interaction with his students, was all praises for Vidya for her charm, grace and brilliance. Balan was at Kher’s acting school for a masterclass.
The ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ actor shared a few pictures of Vidya’s visit on social media and said, “Thank you Vidya Balan for your grace, charm, magnanimity and brilliance today at Actor Prepares. Our students/teachers loved your master class”. Balan, at the interaction was also asked to share her experience as an actor and the body of work that she has done.

The actress said, “I tell myself that I am constantly blessed. From where I come, Chembur in Mumbai, I had a very protective environment, friends and family. As a kid I spent Sundays going to temples and the beach.” Balan added that she never knew that she would become an actor and that opportunities came to her.
The ‘Kahaani’ actress also shared that she used to visit FTII and MAMI with friends when she was young and was also asked to act in some of the student films, which she did. A candid actress shared that she loves working and also loves to do nothing. Balan added that she does not need to go to social gatherings and that she is constantly conserving and regenerating her energy. On the work front, the actress was last seen in the movie ‘Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh’ in the year 2016 and is currently working on her upcoming project ‘Begum Jaan’ which is a remake of the 2015 Bengali movie ‘Rajkahini’. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres in March, 2017.
