Bollywood Garam: Popular Punjabi singer Mika Singh has been recently alleged to be involved in a hit and run case in Mumbai, India. On Saturday, a Hummer vehicle had hit an auto rickshaw and then had banged in to a bus stop on JP road, in the Versova area.
Rajshri Anant Aangane, who was a passenger in the auto rickshaw was injured in the accident and was rushed to the Cooper Hospital. The singer has denied that he was driving the Hummer, which was later abandoned in Millat Nagar. According to the police, a few witnesses had even seen the singer running away from the spot where the vehicle was abandoned.
The police said that they will be contacting Mika and will question him regarding the matter, as there were many witnesses in the case. Those who had witnessed the incident had said that the vehicle was rashly driven as it approached the Darshan Field Club on JP road.
The car is registered in the name of Nitin Shenoi a businessman, who owns Elixir Gym. Sources close to Mika have said that the singer trains at the gym. When Shinoy was contacted, he was in Shirdi and said that he would get back as soon as he returned. Meanwhile, Mika has said that he is not involved in the matter and that he did not even know the owner of the car.
