Bollywood Garam: American singer Akon will soon be performing for the first time in India in a concert. If rumours are to be beleived, the “Bellydancer” singer’s visit to the country will be made special, as he is alleged to be celebrating his birthday along with Bollywood super star Shahrukh Khan.
Akon will be celebrating his birthday on 15th April, after which he will be due to perform in Gurgaon in the state of Uttar Pradesh, on the 16th. Later on 17th April, the singer will be performing for his fans in Bengaluru.
The organizers of the concert have said that after his private birthday party event last year , this time the singer wanted to share his joy on his birthday with the general public along with some of the celebrities of Bollywood.
This is the first time Akon is celebrating his birthday outside home. The “Lonely” singer has already invited some of his close friends from Bollywood to be a part of his birthday bash. The rumours making the buzz are that the singer will also be featuring in Shahrukh’s upcoming home production ‘Ra.One’.This time Akon opted not to perform in Mumbai and Pune, as the places charge high entertainment taxes on the concerts.
After Akon’s trip to India, the singer has a major concert due in Los Angeles.
