Dev r Nil Present The Valley of Missing Flowers at LFW Summer/Resort 2017, Day 1
Designer duo known as Dev r Nil showcased a collection inspired by the picturesque Kashmir Valley and the violence at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 in Mumbai on February 1, 2017. The collection was christened as ‘The Valley Of Missing Flowers’.
The presentation of the collection at the event was unique with a floral theme and remained true to the style rule ‘smart design is good design’. The audience was treated with seven different looks and includes stripes, simple stripes, ikat feathers, metallics and meadows and together made an exceptional combination.
Shimmering zip down jackets with saris were seen on models walking the ramp. The outfit that caught attention was a black sheer outfit with a monochrome print lining and sequel detailing. The ramp saw shararas, kurtas, capes, kimonos, bandgalas, striped handloomed saris, that had hand and shaded machine embroidery. The current collection dominated with floral patterns with geometric lines and flower prints featuring embroidery and came together to make a great collection.
