Bollywood Celebrities Grace Grand Premier of ‘Jolly LLB 2’

Jolly LLB 2 makers ready to cut four scenes from movie

Celebrities from Bollywood attended the premiere of the movie ‘Jolly LLB 2’ held in Mumbai on February 9, 2017. The movie hit theatres on February 10, 2017.

The screening event was attended by Akshay Kumar, who plays the lead role of an advocate, Arshad Warsi, who was in the earlier movie ‘Jolly LLB’, Maria Goretti, Sagarika Ghatge, Mukesh Bhatt, Manmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, Kavita Kaushik, Mini Mathur, Tisca Chopra, Athiya Shetty, Huma Qureshi, Sayani Gupta, Saumya Tandon of ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ fame and others.

The grand premiere of the event had Akshay Kumar, who looked dapper in a formal shirt and a trouser. Arshad was seen in a casual shirt while wife Maria was seen in a black long skirt and a red top. Actress Tisca Chopra was also seen at the event and appeared in a sari with a bindi on her forehead.

The movie has Akshay playing the lead along with Huma Qureshi. ‘Jolly LLB 2’ is written and directed by Subhash Kapoor and produced by Fox Star Studios. The movie also features Saurabh Shukla, Annu Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Inaam-ul-haq, Nikhil Dwivedi, Sayani Gupta and Arshad Warsi in a cameo. The first movie ‘Jolly LLB’ had Arshad in the lead role but the makers preferred to have Akshay on board for the sequel. The movie has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification with no cuts. But then the Bombay High Court intervened and demanded that four of the scenes must be dropped. The producers, Foxstar Studios had approached the Supreme Court for an over-rule but then the makers changed their mind and accepted the edits that were ordered by the High Court.
