Akshay Kumar wins hearts once again
After ‘Rustom’ Akshay Kumar is back to the entertainment market with the sequel of ‘Jolly LLB’ that originally featured Arshad Warsi. The sequel is undoubtedly a better version of the first movie but it also assures that Akshay remains the star in the comedy genre.
The story of the movie is about Jagdishwar Mishra also known as Jolly played by Akshay, who is a lawyer in the making. When an actor like Akshay and a director like Subhash come together it definitely pops crackers. There are one-liners which deserve to be repeated. Shukla plays the perfect obnoxious justice Sunderlal Tripathi with the perfect timing in terms of dialogue delivery. Jolly, a budding advocate now begins his own practice and moves out of the shadow of his employer Rizvi.
The advocate takes money from a pregnant woman played by Sayani who is looking for justice for the death of her husband. Catch the movie to find out if the new advocate in the town of Lucknow can help the woman to get justice. There are all the reasons to watch the movie as it not just has a great plot but also has some gripping dialogues, it has Akshay talking about patriotism in the courtroom, sing and dance on peppy tracks. Huma does not have much to contribute and Annu Kapoor can be called the weaker point in the movie. The makers have done a great job capturing the culture and people of Lucknow. There are indeed a couple of low points in the movie but there’s no reason not to watch the movie in the theatre.
