White Shirt talks about how a white shirt prevents a couple from parting ways
Actors Kritika Kamra and Kunal Kapoor launched their short film ‘White Shirt’ at a press event in Mumbai on February 20, 2017. The launch event also saw the presence of director Sumit Arora.
The short film is a story about relationships where the couple decides to walk away from each other and look after their respective lives, but a white shirt stops them from moving away from each other. Arora, while talking about the movie said, “The story of ‘White Shirt’ is an amalgamation of human emotions and feelings. I feel many will be able to relate to this film, especially the youth.”
The event was also attended by Assistant Vice President, Marketing, Pernod Ricard India, Raja Banerji shared that the short film industry is growing rapidly in the country and the platform encourages and motivates the young talented directors to showcase their skills. The 20 minute long movie stars Kritika and Kunal in lead roles and is shot by Sujodeep Ghosh.
Director Arora has been writing for the small screen for a while now. Some of his works include ‘Choona Hai Aasman’, ‘Dil Mil Gaye’ and ‘Sadda Haq’. Kritika is a popular name and face in the TV industry and has been active since 2007 with the series ‘Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar’. The actress shot to fame with the series ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ and ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’. Kunal is currently filming for the upcoming multi lingual movie ‘Veeram’ and ‘Raagdesh’. The actor made his debut in Bollywood with the movie ‘Meenakshi’ and shot to fame with the movie ‘Rang De Basanti’ opposite actor Aamir Khan.
