Deepika rocked the Indian look in Lux’s Bangladeshi commercial
Bollywood’s International diva, Deepika Padukone recently shot an ad for beauty brand, for a Bangladeshi audience. She looked gorgeous in a Sabyasachi sari and completely rocked the desi look. For the commercial, the actress wore a sheer sari with embroidery, looking elegant as ever.
Deepika is also ready to walk the red carpet at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival which is scheduled for May 17 and 18, 2017. When asked about the festival, Deepika said that, “I cannot believe this is happening. It is every girl’s dream. I think I am looking forward to all of it. Have been to Cannes before. There’s something about the place. There is a lot of positivity there. Watching some exciting films. “We have started planning. There is too much focus on clothes. It should be fun. As a woman, we enjoy being ready and all of that. Clothes are exciting but there is more to it. It is something that my team is working on.”
When Deepika was asked if she would take any tips from the Cannes Queen, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, she said, “I think like they said… Dates are different. If our paths ever cross, then yes. She has represented the brand and India so beautifully over the years. I admire her.”
On the work front – Deepika recently made her Hollywood debut with xXx: Return of Xander Cage and also shot for the title track of Raabta. At present, she is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. The film releases on November 17, 2017.
