Sidharth Malhotra is currently at his hometown – Delhi, to shoot for his upcoming film Aiyaari. The actor was snapped shooting near the popular monument India Gate in Delhi on June 25, 2017. Apart from fulfilling work commitments, the actor was also seen promoting the road awareness and safety campaign.
Sidharth looked dapper in a checked shirt and a pair of denims and was seen posing with children holding placards. The upcoming film Aiyaari is directed by Neeraj Pandey and is scheduled to be released on January 26, 2018. The film is expected to have a box office clash with the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 which will also release on the same date.
The first schedule of Aiyaari was shot at Kashmir. Sidharth, in a recent interview with a leading daily, talked about working with his director Neeraj and co-star Manoj Bajpayee. The Student of The Year actor said, “They (Neeraj and Manoj) are known for content-driven films. I think Special 26 was a great film with a twist. They make universally appealing films. Manoj Bajpayee is a prolific actor. I will gain by working with somebody like him.”
Malhotra added that he is a big admirer of Neeraj’s film A Wednesday which starred Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher and Jimmy Shergil.
