Arjun Rampal has written, produced and essayed the role of gangster Arun Gawli in Daddy
Makers of the film Daddy organized a special screening for the family of Arun Gawli in Mumbai on September 7, 2017. The film is based on the gangster Arun Gawli, who is currently serving a sentence in Jail. The screening event saw the presence of Arun Gawli’s wife Asha Gawli and daughters Geeta and Yogita.
Several other friends and family members of the Gawli family were also present for the screening event. Lead actor Arjun Rampal too was seen at the screening and interacted with the family members. Arun Gawli had recently applied for bail to watch the film but the court denied his application.
Arjun has also co-written the film and will be seen playing the lead role of Arun Gawli, who was fondly known as Daddy. The film also stars Aishwarya Rajesh and Nishikant Kamat and has released in theatres on September 8, 2017.
