Shahid Kapoor is not just looking forward for the release of his upcoming film Padmavati but is also preparing for the upcoming film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu directed by Shree Narayan Singh. Shahid was snapped hiding his face at the Mumbai airport on October 27, 2017. There are possibilities that the Jab We Met actor might be hiding his look from the upcoming film.
Shahid was seen in a white t-shirt, denims with a black scarf tied on his face with black glares and a black cap. The actor was snapped heading to Amritsar. A teaser of the upcoming Shree Narayan Singh helmed film was released during Diwali 2017. The film is about the high electricity bills which has become a common problem of the citizens.
Singh in an earlier interview said, “The subject of the film is very relevant to our times. Diwali makes it just the right occasion for us to shed light on a subject that needs to be discussed. We look forward to making a film that is both commercially entertaining and encourages a social conversation”. The film is yet to go on floors and Shahid will be seen playing the role of a lawyer.
