Indian actor Prabhu Deva has been a very private person. The choreographer and dancer has seldom talked about his private life. Prabhu Deva had got married for the second time to Himani Singh in 2020. The actor and his wife Himani have welcomed a baby girl together. The happy news was confirmed by the actor to a publication, who also said that he would now like to spend more time with his family. Prabhu Deva is yet to share the name of his new born daughter.
The mother and daughter are doing well and are recovering. Prabhu Deva confirmed that he is a father again at this age (50) and that he feels complete now. The choreographer added that he has already cut down on his workload and would like to spend more time with his family. The actor was earlier married to Ramlath, who later changed her name to Latha. Together they became parents to three sons Aditya Deva, Vishal and Rishi Raghavendra Deva. Unfortunately, their eldest son Vishal passed away at the age of 13 in 2008 due to cancer.
The couple got divorced in 2011. Prabhu Deva faced a mess in his personal life as his wife Latha had filed for a direction from the court for his alleged live-in relationship with actress Nayanthara, while seeking reunion with him. Latha had in 2010 also threatened to go on a hunger strike if Prabhu Deva married Nayanthara. A number of women’s organizations had staged protests against the actress and the actor. In 2012, Nayanthara confirmed that she had broken up with Prabhu Deva.
The dancer and filmmaker then moved to Mumbai and is residing at Boney Kapoor’s old place known as Green Acres. Talking about Himani, she is a physiotherapist based in Mumbai. On the work front, the actor announced his upcoming film Petta Rap that will be directed by SJ Sinu and will be bank-rolled by Jobi P Sam.
