Bollywood Garam: Upcoming movie ‘Shaitan’ is a fresh venture by producer Anurag Kashyap, who has made his actors in the movie go through tough times. Kirti Kulhari, who has just entered the Indian film industry, was made to do many tough and awkward scenes in the movie – which also included a lip lock scene with Kashyap’s wife Kalki Koechlin, and the actress said it was quite a challenge for her.
Kirti had earlier thought that the director Bejoy Nambiar was just joking around the sets that she had to kiss Kalki in a scene. But the actress came to know that the scene had to be actually shot and was a bit shocked that it was true.
Apart from the kissing scene, the actress was reportedly made to do several other things in the movie which the actress would not have otherwise ventured. Kirti said that she wasn’t uncomfortable wearing a bikini, but the director had made her understand the necessity of that scene in the movie.
Shaitan is a movie which talks about the evil in every human being and is thus full of scenes that may be disturbing. Kirti had initially worked as a model and had made her Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Khichdi- The Movie’. While taking about the experience, the actress said that shooting for the movie was very tough and had affected her emotionally.
Shaitan will hit the theatres on 10th June.
