Amitabh Bachchan’s "Bbuddha" shooting stopped by MNS activists

Bollywood Garam: The Maharshtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Tuesday had broken into the sets of a movie which stars Amitabh Bachchan. The activists barged onto the shooting set, after they claimed that there were certain foreign girls on the sets, who did not have permits to work in India.

The MNS activists reportedly halted the shooting of the movie Bbuddha, at the Indian United Mills No 5 Shivaji Park. The activists were accompanied by the police along with the cine workers association of the MNS.

Ameya Khopkar, the the secretary of the association, had said that they had found 45 foreign girls with expired permits. Some of them were even on tourists visas and were illegally working on the sets.

The movie Bbuddha is being produced under the Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL). Amitabh, who was also present at the shooting spot, had left the scene. According to the Mumbai Police, they are still investigating the case. Khopkar had demanded that they want strict action against Amitabh. The police has said that the paper work of the foreign girls are being checked. If it is found that they do not have valid permit, then a case could be registered against them, the police added.
