BollywoodGaram.com: Indian filmmaker Kiran Rao hosted a special screening of ‘Gulabi Gang’ – a documentary film – in Mumbai on February 13, 2014. Some of the celebrities who attended the event included actor Aditya Roy Kapur, Prasoon Joshi, Gauri Shinde and Anand Gandhi.
During the screening, Rao talked to reporters and said that the documentary film is not just good, but is also important.
The filmmaker went on to say that she wanted to help the documentary film to get some attention within the film industry and also in the public space. With this in mind, she hosted the screening for a few friends and is hoping that they will be moved by the movie as she was by it.
