Riteish Deshmukh is riding high on success.
Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh, who made his Marathi movie debut with ‘Lai Bhari’, celebrated the film’s success at Orchid hotel in Mumbai, on July 14, 2014. The movie has been produced by Riteish Deshmukh and is directed by national award winning director Nishikant Kamat.
Speaking at the event Riteish said, “Lai Bhari’ is my first Marathi film as an actor and as a producer this is my third film. For Marathi cinema, this genre has not been explored. I hope the film works and many people make these kinds of films.”
Riteish is riding high on his success with Ek Villain, and now it’s his turn to shine again with Lai Bhari. The film has turned out to be a major crowd puller at the box office, its initial day’s collections are pegged to be at around Rs 3.10 crore net in Maharashtra alone.
Film analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted out saying: “LaiBhaari has a FABULOUS Mon as well. Fri 3.10 cr, Sat 3.60 cr, Sun 3.85 cr, Mon 2.15 cr. Total: ₹ 12.70 cr. Maharashtra biz. SUPERB!”
