After the success of the Bollywood movies like ‘Ready’, Dabangg’ and ‘Bodyguard’, which are all the remakes of south Indian films starring Salman Khan, the actor has been approached for another Hindi remake. Khan has been recently approached for the remake of the Telugu blockbuster flick ‘Arya 2’.
‘Arya 2’ had the super star of Telugu movies Allu Arjun and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles. The rights of the movie for the remake have been acquired by popular film maker Ronnie Screwvala.
Screwvala has now decided to go as per the tradition and has roped in Salman for the lead role. The story of the movie is about two best friends who fall in love with the same girl.
The shooting of the movie is expected to begin in the year 2012.The female lead of the movie is yet to be finalized by the makers. The original director Sukumar has been retained for the direction of the Hindi version. Certain reports had earlier claimed that the main role in the movie would be played by Arjun himself, as he would be the best person to do justice to the role. The movie was a major hit in the south film industry and was appreciated by all the Allu Arjun fans.
